On Sunday me and my family went to the beach as it was a hot day. My mum had prepared some lunch for our day out, We were walking around the beach and talking.
After a while my mum called us to come and eat there was sandwiches fruit, chips and some drinks
I grabbed a banana first.
When i finished the banana then i grabbed a chicken, lettuce and mayo sandwich
While eating the sandwich I grabbed d a drink.
After eating I had to rest my stomach before I swam. So I didn't get a stitch so I had to wait for 10 minutes. during those 10 minutes we were playing tag i was in so counting up to 20 then i ran after people to tag them. First I ran after my brother before I tagged him. Our time was up so we could swim with my brothers and sister and aunt went far out. It wasn't deep but it was very cold so we went back and had a snack.
After a while we had to go home. When we got home we started to gather some dry wood for a fire. More of my family came and we all had some marshmallows.
I only had a couple because I was sick after a while eating some marshmallows we had to go inside and have dinner.
Hi Jerricho, sounds like you had a great time at the beach! I bet the water was really cold, you are brave to go in it this time of the year. You would have needed a nice hot drink when you got out! I think picnics always taste nicer at the beach, even if you sometimes crunch on sand! I enjoyed reading your story.
